The goal: To create a cohesive visual identity for a botanical art exhibition at the Kyiv National Botanical Garden.
Idea: The design explores the intersection of nature and human intervention. I used circular typography to represent the cycle of growth and organic life, contrasting it with a rigid, high-contrast layout to give it a modern, gallery-like feel.
Iconic Symbol: The project's key asset is a fragile, exotic botanical image sourced from Unsplash, carefully processed to match the exhibition's gallery-like feel. By isolating the plant from its original background and enhancing its organic textures, it was transformed into a clean, modern emblem. This symbol serves as the foundational visual anchor across all brand materials, creating a stark contrast with the layout's sharp grid.

Typography: The project relies on a sophisticated typographic system to maintain a professional, contemporary museum aesthetic. The primary typeface used for the logo and titles is MacPaw Fixel, which adds structural strength and contrast to the fragile botanical lines. The arrangement focuses on bold typography balanced by generous negative space, emphasising the intersection of rigid human design and organic natural forms.
